This website has been set up by the above pictured amateur photographers. The name 'joribo' is made up of the names of these three. They are: Jos van Gils, Richard van Kuyk and Bob Freese. The purpose of this site is to share photos mainly with family and friends although the site is freely accessible to all internet users.
The usual photo websites have in our opinion far too many photos on them, resulting in viewers getting bored very quickly and never coming back to it again. Besides, as a practical observation, people that are on dial-up are understandably reluctant to view big photo sites. Consequently, our idea is to allow four photos only for each photographer. This should make it easy and quick to download for everyone and yet, the photos are of a decent size and quality for viewing and forming an opinion. It should also encourage each participant to regularly change his photos and keep the site interesting and alive.
Each photographer has his own page which can be viewed by clicking on the relevant name in the menu on the left hand side.
To comment, please navigate to the 'Contact Us' page and use the 'Feedback' facility there. Enter your own name, your own e-mail address and write your brief message. This message, including your name, (but not your e-mail address), will show up at the top of the page under 'Feedback Comments' for all viewers to see after it is accepted/processed by the administrator. When you see your comments published, please regard it as confirmation that the site has received your comments with our thanks.

Today’s (19 December 2011) publication is the last one for 2011. We will be taking a holiday break until 13 February 2012. We look forward to recharging our creative batteries and to sharing the results with you all again in the coming new year.
December, Januarie en Februarie zijn de vacantie maanden in Nieuw Zeeland. Wij nemen ook een korte vacantie en daarom is deze update de laatste voor 2011. Wij hopen weer terug te zijn op 13 February 2012 en hopen jullie allen dan weer te verrassen met onze fotos.
Following a little misunderstanding with one of our website visitors recently, we would like to reassure all viewers that photos published on this website are all original work from the relevant authors and that on no account plagiarism is carried out intentionally or unintentionally. One exception to this rule are the collage creations made by Jos. These collages sometimes contain several different elements and some of these elements might be taken off the internet where they are freely available. In the past, one or two of these collages have slipped through the net and were published on this site.
