Hello, my name is Ailsa Rainer. I was born and bred in the UK, and moved to the Netherlands in 1994. At present I live in the Province of North Brabant which is a beautiful part of the Netherlands.

I’ve always been interested in photography, but modesty prevented me from entering competitions until I noticed a call for local shots in a regional newspaper. I sent in a few photos, and to my surprise I won! Since then I’ve been successful a few times. (one prize even enabled me to invest in a macro lens) I use a Nikon 3000 DSLR. When I need to travel light (i.e. in lunch breaks), I take my Nikon Coolpix S8100 with me. I see potential photographs all around me, and am as interested in cities as I am in the wide-open countryside. Portrait, abstract and macro photography are something I’m keen to investigate more. In short, photography is a fun and rewarding hobby!

My name is Ingrid van Kuijk. I live in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands. I’m a keen amateur photographer and am currently using a Canon 50D. I’m a member of the photo club 'Zoom.nl' and score regularly some small successes there. Photography is my great hobby. One way or another I spend some time on it nearly every day. Post production is my weak point but thanks to my photo friends I’m catching up. Mainly because I see beauty everywhere, I do not stick to one specific subject. I try macro, landscapes, animals, flowers, people and anything in between. I feel flattered that as a guest of Richard, Bob and Jos I have the opportunity to share some of my photos with you.
