We are attracted to yoga for many reasons. Possibly the desire to stretch or become flexible, it may be to obtain relief from a physical or emotional concern. Others may simply enjoy learning how to relax. Practicing yoga has many benefits, once you begin you will discover that yoga has the capacity to transform through your own unique experience
In a relaxed approach to yoga, the class offers a systematic and safe teaching style that enables each student to adapt to suit their own individual ability or intention.
Yoga is the Satyananda tradition. General classes are 1.5 hours duration.
Elements of all classes include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and relaxation or yoga nidra.
Foundation practices develop awareness of movement and breath. The individual needs of students are supported and a beginner and more advanced student can practice side by side in the same class.
