Just a kind reminder: could you please inform our secretary of any changes in your address, telephone number or E-mail address as soon as they occur.

If you know of any member being ill, please let our welfare officer Jan Mansfield  know. She will send those members a get-well card to let them know that they are in our hearts and that we wish them a quick recovery.

Please forward any apologies for proposed non attendance for any meeting to Yvonne Keir on Tel : 9 416 2320.

At the last count we had 82 members on e-mail spread over 52 e-mail addresses.

We request that all able members at the end of a club meeting assist Gordon in moving all chairs and tables back to the Bowling club configuration.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS GOING ON TRIPS……………….
If going on any of our club trips, it is the responsibility of each member to make sure they have medication with them for their own medical condition. Should it transpire that you do require medical care, please also have the name, address and phone number of the person you wish to be notified. Please also make sure that any visitor you bring also knows of this requirement.

Outings and events planned

Friday 17 February 2012
Trip to the Toyota factory in Thames. The bus will be free as it has been fully subsidised by a benefactor.
Our grateful thank-you goes out to him.
Morning tea will be provided by Toyota.
The only cost to members will be $15.00 for lunch at the workingmans's club.
The bus, which holds 48, leaves at 08.00 from the bowling club.
This will indeed be a very good start to our new Probus year.

The Mouse Trap is playing at the Dolphin Theatre Onehunga on Sunday March 4th at 4p.m. It is an amateur production but the theatre has a good name. The play itself played in London for 50 years and had excellent write ups.
Anyone wishing to attend please phone Marlene  4167231 before the evening of Wednesday February 15 so the bookings may be made. Could you please pass this message on to anyone you know without an email address.
Cost is either $22 or $25 depending on numbers.
Free parking is available and we could perhaps car share as arranged at the next club meeting.
Sorry for the short notice

If you have any suggestions for trips/outings or say, themed meetings, talk to Marlene, or use the ideas/suggestions box at the club meetings.
